Collaboration & Linkages
The Centre for Research in Nigerian Languages and Folklore (CRNLT&F) actively fosters collaborations with academic institutions both locally and internationally.
As a result of these partnerships, the Centre recently hosted nine Polish students studying the Hausa language, along with a professor from the University of Warsaw, Poland, for a one-month study tour. Strengthening this academic exchange, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sagir Adamu Abbas, visited the University of Warsaw to further consolidate a bilateral agreement between the two institutions.
The Centre also maintains a strategic partnership with Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU), China, where the Director of CRNLT&F was invited to participate in discussions on China-Africa Cooperation and African Development from the perspective of the Global South.
Additionally, the Centre collaborates with SOAS University of London and several other universities and research centers across Nigeria, enhancing research, cultural exchange, and academic development in Nigerian languages and folklore.
